PA150 | 160-10m 150W+ Linear Power Amplifier Module
You can read a detalied engineering report about this amplifier HERE.
The PA150+ is an RF amplifier module developed in our lab as an experimental re-design of the classic AN762 and G6ALU architectures. Designed for extensive testing and demonstration purposes, we have assembled multiple units, fully populating all manufactured PCBs. Initial results are highly promising, and we are currently preparing a comprehensive engineering report detailing the performance. The design is a push-pull, Class-AB amplifier utilizing bipolar BJTs — either 2 x 2SC2879 or 2 x SD1487 (HG Semi). It does not include heatsink. Key performance figures include:
- output Power (Pout @ IMD > -30 dBc): 160W CW (160–20m), 120–150W on 10m
- P1dB: 180W
- recommended Heatsinks: Fischer SK121-150SA or Fischer SK-580-100-SA
